The boys have gone back to school this week (post with pics coming next!) so that means summer break has come to an end and fall is knocking on the door! September is my favorite month of the year because it signals the end of summer and brings with it the changing colors, cool weather, and lots of holidays!
My little garden is still giving me yummy fresh food! Tomatoes are plentiful, and I harvest all of my beets. I roasted them and canned pickled beets to enjoy later!
Jacob has been enjoying learning how to use the riding mower!
He had a fun meet-the-principal activity at his school and got to eat a popsicle and play with his friends on the playground.
I enjoyed a fun night out with girlfriends to see New Kids on the Block and Paula Abdul! We had a blast.
Nick and I took an afternoon nature hike through a large Wildlife Refuge that is by us and saw lots of neat plants and creatures.
I took the boys to the Science Museum and Planeterium in Rochester and we had fun watching the show as well and checking out all the science displays and exhibits.
We took the boys for a rare dinner out to their first hibachi! They loved watching the chef and the food was so good.
We took a spontaneous picnic lunch to enjoy on a beautiful day by Lake Ontario before they went back to school.
Thanks for reading! Check back to see their back to school pics coming soon!
