This was our first Halloween without Brad at home to celebrate with us. It definitely felt like something was missing, but he had his own fun with friends at college!
Jacob got to go to a couple pre-Halloween events for fun and treats. First, we all went to Point Breeze on Lake Ontario at the lighthouse for cider and donuts. Then Friday night before Halloween our town did Beggars night where kids can trick or treat from all the local businesses downtown! The weather was perfect the whole weekend.
Halloween night we started out right at 5:30. Nick stayed home to hand out candy, and I took Jacob around the block. After one loop his bag was full! We returned home to dump it, then he wanted to go back out by himself for another round. After he got home we ate pizza for dinner and enjoyed winding down to finish out the holiday.
