This blog was started in 2008 when we did IVF for the first time to build our family after 5 1/2 years of infertility. We now have 8 and 2 year old boys (thanks to modern medicine) and we are enjoying our blessed life as parents ♥ In the summer of 2016 we took another huge step and moved across the country from Oklahoma to New York! This blog is about life and everything in between

Crafts for Bradley

As some may remember, I recently got a fancy embroidery/sewing machine and I have been trying my hand at different creations. I have discovered that onesies are VERY hard to embroider but t-shirts and kimono tops are a lot easier. I have been taking some of the plain solid color shirts that Bradley has and adding a little something to them:

This last one is going to be his little shirt for July 4!! He will only be a week or two old for his first holiday.

I have a friend at work who is having a little girl next month so here are a few things I made for her:
The last one here is for Thanksgiving and has a little turkey on it. I hope she likes them!

PS. Notice the 36 week belly picture to the right...hopefully it's the last one!

  1. Wow, you are really good at that! I love them all, but especially the first one. Cute!!

Thanks for the sweet comments! :)

  2. Love the 36wk picture! You look great! What's your weight gain so far? I'm nervous mine is starting to get up there... Guess I'll find out more after our appt on Tuesday!

The embroidery is awesome! You have so many possibilities w/ that machine! I wish my Mom would get one (I don't know how to sew, but hoping to learn enough to make more cloth diapers!) to make my little boy some custom stuff! LOL

Not too much longer, girl, not too much longer! :)

Show some love and tell me what you think! Don't forget to check back often for new posts.
