Typically we would have taken one last summer family vacation to Florida at this time! But as we all know there is a pandemic.....thus we took a "staycation" and tried out a little lake cabin in the SE Adirondacks.
We arrived on Wednesday afternoon and explored the property for a bit before settling in and making dinner. Every night there we grilled out and stuffed ourselves with smores afterward!
The next day we took the boys out on the water and Nick rowed us around the small lake! A good upper boy workout for sure. Lots of lily pads and creatures to see in the water.
The boys enjoyed the playground, and we enjoyed the quiet lake views.
The next day we went out on the boat again, and this time the boys each got a chance to do some rowing. It's harder than it looks!
After lunch we spent the afternoon on the "beach" watching Jacob play and Bradley swim. I'm sure the water was cold, but that didn't stop him!
I was even able to grab some nice family photos!
