This week we were very happy to host my brother and his family for their first visit to NY! They made the 2 day drive and got here Tuesday evening. We took them all out to dinner, then came back to our house for the grand tour.
The cousins had fun playing together, and Jacob loved all the attention.
I made lots of delicious food, and their second day here we had a snowstorm move in. We got to show them what a NY winter is really like!
We took them up to Point Breeze, which is where they got their first view of Lake Ontario.
We walked around downtown Albion to do some antiquing.
On their last full day here, I kept Brad home from school so that he could go with us to Niagara Falls! It was still partially frozen, but beautiful nonetheless on the sunny day.
The last couple days we were plagued by a minor stomach bug that started with Jacob, then Brad, then {hopefully} ended with me. But we are doing better now, and back to reality after everyone left this morning.
We love getting visitors, seeing family, and can't wait for more to come!
